Tiger’s Nest/ Takstang Palphug Monastery
This is one of the most stunning and humbling places on earth. The Bhuddist temple complex was first built in 1692 directly into the cliffs at an elevation of >10,000 feet in the Himalayas. It seems to defy gravity and the narrow cliff side trail to the monastery is a harrowing journey!
